TAILORED LEARNING PROGRAMMES

BUILDING THE FOUNDATIONS FOR A SUCCESSFUL FUTURE

At Walsall Learning Centre, we offer tuition for those at a very young age, starting at Key stage 1. We believe that the formative years of primary school are when children’s attitude to learning are cemented. Starting tuition at a young age builds strong foundations for a child to develop confidence in the classroom.

We concentrate on the subjects of English and Maths, although science is also available. Meanwhile supporting students in preparation for their entrance exam and settling into a school routine. Our tutors create fully-tailored programmes that provide a virtuous cycle, encouraging children to learn and develop.

All of our teachers have vast experience of teaching younger children, those specifically between the ages of 5 and 11-years old.

They are well versed in progress monitoring and making changes to ensure key skills are developed and strengthened. We have a strong track record of success as our tutors follow the national curriculum and work closely with both parents and students, taking onboard any concerns.

SATS TUITION

SATs are a national test that is in place to ensure that each student achieves a set level prior to entering secondary school whereby they will commence their KS3 studies.

At Walsall Learning Centre, our tutors concentrate on subject knowledge, helping to build the confidence your child will need to sit their SATs exam. Tutors will also cover exam techniques, offering hints and tips to ensure your child achieves the best possible results in their SATs.

WHY TUITION?

There has been a strong trend over recent years that the children who achieve the higher levels in their SATs tend to progress through KS3 and onto KS4 (GCSE) within the higher tier, giving them a better opportunity to get the higher levels (levels 6 to 9) at this tier of learning.

At Walsall Learning Centre, we can also provide private tuition for students in years 7-9 (KS3) and years 10 and 11 (GCSE/KS4).
